March 1, 2021 COVID-19 vaccination update from Jennifer Maccarone, MNA for Westmount–Saint-Louis

March 1st, 2021

Further to our communication last week, citizens aged 70 and over are now eligible to book their vaccination appointment *new*

We will inform you by email as soon as the appointment booking is open to a new age group. Please refrain from burdening Clic Santé with attempts to register unless you fall into the current age category. This will improve the ability of our CIUSSS to include more age groups as soon as possible.

Health Care Card *new*
Your RAMQ health care card is recommended when booking your appointment. If you do not have one, you may use an alternative identification that indicates your date of birth, address, etc. Vaccination is free for everyone.

Booking an Appointment by Phone

A call center has been set up to serve you. The number to call for your appointment is 514-644-4545. The lines are open 7 days a week, between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Booking an Appointment Online

You may visit www.quebec.ca/covidvaccine. The website will direct you to the Clic Santé platform to book your appointment.

  • Once on the Clic Santé site, you will need to select the “COVID-19 vaccine” service, then enter your postal code. You must have your health insurance card on hand.
  • Once your postal code has been entered, you will be offered vaccination clinics near you, as well as a time slot. You will choose the point of service as well as the time for the vaccination.
  • You will be asked a series of questions regarding your health status, including whether you have any symptoms related to COVID-19. During your in-person visit, a nurse will revalidate the information entered during the virtual appointment booking process.
  • A “vaccination coupon” will be sent to you. You must have a valid email address.

Couples and Caregivers

Spouses or caregivers aged 70 years or older who accompany seniors aged 70 and older for their vaccination may receive the vaccine at the same time.
