The Milton-Parc Food Bank is a community food hub offering hot meals and emergency food baskets. At the beginning of the COVID pandemic, it joined forces with St John’s Lutheran Church food bank, which has been offering consistent and dependable services dealing with food insecurity and social exclusion for 30 years. Coordinated and administered exclusively by volunteers, the food bank is able to distribute over 100 meals and grocery baskets each week out of the St. John’s Lutheran Church.
Learn more about their services from their recent feature on CBC. You can also keep up to date on their Instagram and Facebook.
Every Friday, 6 – 7 pm, St John’s Lutheran Church basement at 3594 rue Jeanne-Mance (corner of Prince-Arthur and Jeanne-Mance)
The food bank organizes a food distribution and serve hot suppers (bring your own bag and container!) at the Lutheran Church every Friday.
They offer a limited number of on-foot deliveries for individuals with reduced mobility in the Milton-Parc neighborhood. Contact them to inquire and they will do their best to accomodate you.
Throughout the year, the food bank hosts a variety of fundraising and community events, including thrift/vintage bazaars, community brunches, and concerts.
In the future they hope to organize cooking workshops, social, cultural, and sports activities, cooking/preservation workshops, and a kids clothing exchange. Get in touch if you are interested or you have ideas!

The food bank often needs volunteers to help us with meal and basket deliveries on foot. This is a fun, easy way to get involved! If you’re interested in providing additional services or volunteering non-typically, please contact mpfoodbank@gmail.com.
As an entirely volunteer-operated and run non-profit, the food bank welcomes all donations. Find out more about the different ways you can donate funds or food.
