COMMUNITY PICNIC 
We’re looking for a few extra helping hands for our community picnic this Saturday, 12pm to 4pm at Lucia Kowaluk Park.

This Saturday, we’ll be welcoming our garden committee for a conference on urban agriculture. Black Rose Books will also be doing a book launch of the French translation of their new book “Montreal: A Citizen’s Guide to City Politics.” Montreal activists will speak on the city’s politics.

Our activists can use help with setting up the event, cleaning up afterwards, serving food, distributing pamphlets and information on the neighbourhood at our infoshop, and food preparation before the event. People who volunteer are also welcome to join our picnic and film screening planning committee afterwards.
