World Environment Day is celebrated annually. This year the theme is ‘plastics’. The MPCC will mark the occasion with an event in Lucia Kowaluk Park, 5pm to sunset (8:30pm).

🥙 Vegetarian meal and drink will be served with a BBQ onsite.

🎤 The program will include speakers from various community, environmental, and activist initiatives, as well as musical and circus performances. Have your say: perform in the citizens’ open mic!

🎨 Activities: Environmental bingo, cyanotyping art activity, Best-out-of-waste collective art activity, zero waste competition.
